बारिश के इस मौसम में फुटाला तालाब पर रखे सेना के हेलीकॉप्टर के साथ सेल्फी लेने की होड़ मची हुई है. यहां बड़ी संख्या में सैलानी अपने परिवार के साथ आ रहे हैं. लेकिन यहां चलते ट्रैफिक के बीच परिवार सहित खासकर छोटे बच्चों के साथ सेल्फी लेना खतरनाक है क्योंकि कई बार लोग खुद की सेल्फी लेने में व्यस्त रहते हैं, इतने में बच्चे अनजाने में सड़क पर पहुंच जाते हैं. इससे दुर्घटना का खतरा रहता है.
बीते दिनों अमरावती के दिनेश राय अपनी फैमिली के साथ फुटाला तालाब घूमने के लिए आए. यहां अपने परिवार के साथ संयुक्त फोटो लेने के बाद दंपति अलग से अपनी सेल्फी ले रहे थे. इस दौरान उनकी 3 वर्ष की बेटी अनुष्का सड़क पर आ गई. गनीमत यह रही कि पास खड़े कुछ कॉलेज स्टूडेंट्स की नजर उस बच्ची पर पड़ी और उन्होंने समय रहते उसे सड़क से उठा लिया और दंपति को इसके बारे में जानकारी दी. इस तरह के मामले प्रतिदिन सामने आ रहे हैं जिससे किसी अनहोनी की आशंका बनी रहती है. खासकर अवकाश के दिन यहां हालात बिगड़ने की संभावना ज्यादा रहती है.
सेल्फी के लिए लोग अपनी गाड़ियां सड़क पर साइड से खड़ी कर देते हैं. बगल में ही निर्माण कार्य चलने से सड़क संकरी पहले से है. ऐसे में यहां जाम की स्थिति बन जाती है. खासकर शाम के समय अवकाश के दिन तो यहां से गुजरना मुश्किल भरा होता है. हालांकि इस जाम से निजात के लिए शहर प्रशासन मल्टी पार्किंग का निर्माण करा रहा है लेकिन फिलहाल ट्रैफिक को नियंत्रित करना चुनौती भरा साबित हो रहा है. यहां के चौराहों पर सीसीटीवी कैमरे के साथ कोई यातायात का जवान भी मौजूद नहीं रहता है जिससे हादसे की आशंका बनी रहती है.
