Cyber Warriors of GIFS College Conduct Cyber Awareness at Kamptee Bar Association
Kamptee, Nagpur:
The Cyber Warriors of Govt. Institute of Forensic Science (GIFS), Nagpur, in collaboration with Quick Heal Foundation, conducted a Cyber Security Awareness Program at the Kamptee Bar Association.
The session, guided by Dr. Ashish Badiye (Teacher Coordinator, Cyber Warrior Club) along with student volunteers Minal Borkar and Sachi Mate, highlighted real-world cyber threats including phishing, online frauds, identity theft, and social media risks. The audience was engaged with practical demonstrations on safe internet practices—like creating strong passwords, identifying suspicious links, and reporting cybercrimes—under the theme “Cyber Shiksha for Cyber Suraksha.”

The event saw the presence of respected members of the Bar Association—Adv. A.D. Bhimte (President), Adv. P.T. Gajwe (Secretary), and Adv. Reena Ganvir (Executive Member)—who appreciated the effort of spreading cyber awareness among legal professionals and the community.
The program served as a reminder that staying informed and vigilant is the first step in protecting ourselves from the fast-evolving landscape of cybercrime.
