114 fresh COVID-19 cases reported in Nagpur,7 deaths, tally reaches 106561

In Nagpur district the COVID19 report continues to improve daily. Despite Diwali festival the city manages to report less than 300 cases. On November 16, the city reported 114 fresh coronavirus positive cases taking the cumulative number to 106561. This is so far the lowest daily count of COVID-19 registered till date after continues hike from June.

Also maintaining the single digit count, 7 people succmbed to the infection taking the total count of fatality to 3525. From the total deaths 2478 deaths from the city and 594 from rural and rest 453 from out of Nagpur, an official release said.

The total active cases in the city now stands at 3048 after the fresh updates, including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.

Meanwhile, 155 persons became free of the infection in the day taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 99988 (including 56156 home isolation recoveries). After today’s update the recovery rate stands at 93.79%.

Today’s 114 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.

AIIMS (4), GMC (48), IGGMC (14), MAFSU (0), NEERI (0), RTMNU (27), Private Lab (14), and Antigen (6).
