Don’t fear, Petrol pumps will remain operational in Nagpur

If you are one among those who have believed the rumour that petrol pumps in Nagpur will not be operational in coming days due to the coronavirus scare, you need a fact check!

DCP Vinita S (Zone II), clarified that the petrol pumps in the city will continue to operate. She said, “There’s no reason to panic for citizens as petrol pumps will continue to operate in the city. I urge citizens not to believe rumours. We have also started making announcements in the city regarding the same.”

As soon as it was announced that District Collector Ravindra Thakre on Wednesday that Nagpur’s bars, clubs, wine shops and pan shops will remain shut, citizens, who believe that petrol pumps will be shut down, made a bee-line at petrol pumps to fill their vehicle tanks.
