मनपा चुनाव की तारीखों का भले ही ऐलान न हुआ हो लेकिन अब चुनावी प्रक्रिया आगे बढ़ने से सरगर्मियां तेज हो गई हैं.
राज्य की 14 महानगर पालिकाओं के लिए आरक्षण का ड्रा निकालने के राज्य चुनाव आयोग का आदेश निकलते ही तमाम राजनीतिक दल सक्रिय हो गए हैं.
राजनीतिक दलों की नजरें मंगलवार को भट सभागृह में होने जा रहे आरक्षण ड्रा पर लगी हुई हैं. 3 सदस्यीय प्रभाग पद्धति में कुछ प्रभागों में महिलाओं के लिए 2-2 सीटें आरक्षण होने की संभावना के चलते कई कार्यकर्ताओं के समीकरण बिगड़ने के आसार हैं. जानकारों के अनुसार वर्तमान में भी मनपा में महिलाओं का 50 प्रतिशत आरक्षण है जिसका असर कई प्रभागों में दिखाई देता है.
जानकारों के अनुसार 50 प्रतिशत महिलाओं के आरक्षण के चलते 78 सीटें महिलाओं के लिए रखी जाएंगी. 52 प्रभागों में 78 महिलाओं के लिए सीटें निर्धारित करनी हैं. इसमें से 22 सीटें आरक्षित वर्ग के लिए होंगी लेकिन बची सीटों पर खुले वर्ग की महिलाओं के लिए आरक्षण निकाला जाएगा.
खुले वर्ग में निकलने वाले आरक्षण के बाद वहां पर केवल महिला प्रत्याशी ही चुनाव लड़ सकेंगी. वहां पुरुष कार्यकर्ताओं के लिए कोई जगह नहीं होगी जबकि 156 सीटों में से बची सीटों पर पुरुष या महिला में से कोई भी लड़ सकेगा.
कई इच्छुक पुरुष कार्यकर्ताओं ने संभावित प्रभागों का आंकलन कर चुनाव लड़ने की तैयारी कर रखी है. हालांकि ऐसे प्रभागों के प्रस्थापित पार्षदों ने जनसम्पर्क कम कर दिया है लेकिन उनके अलावा इच्छुक कार्यकर्ता लगातार जनसम्पर्क में रहे हैं. यहां तक कि लोगों की समस्याओं को लेकर मुखर भी होते रहे हैं.
अब अचानक ही 26 प्रभागों में 2-2 महिलाओं का आरक्षण निकलने की संभावना के चलते इन पुरुष कार्यकर्ताओं का खेल बिगड़ने की संभावना जताई जा रही है.
गत चुनाव में हार देख चुके कई कार्यकर्ता नई ताकत से भिड़े हुए हैं लेकिन अब उनका भविष्य प्रभाग में निकलने वाली आरक्षण की लाटरी पर निर्भर हो गया है. माना जा रहा है कि आरक्षण लाटरी के दौरान ऐसे इच्छुकों की भारी भीड़ होगी.
